Inspired by childhood memories, and motivated by the RPM Challenge (to write and record an album during the month of February), The Challenges is 10 true stories conceived as songs the first two weeks in February, recorded in Chicago on February 22nd, mixed the following week, and submitted to the RPM Challenge February 28th.

The songs are all over the place - rock, acoustic pop, accordion doom, video game techno - but the theme is central: there's always more sandwich loaf.
